5-Day Event - Marathon Basketball Game
To Benefit: Alzheimer's Association CNY Chapter
*Marathon starts Sunday, July 22 5:00pm thru Friday, July 27, 5:00pm
The event will consist of 2 - twelve man teams. Teams will be selected from participants who submit an application to participate; players will be divided into two teams of twelve; then into teams of six; each set of teams will compete againist each other for two hours. Each team has a 5 minute rest period per hour. Team and individual scoring will be recorded. Players must remain on site for the duration of the marathon. This record will be recognized by the Guinness Book of World records.
*Must be Male/Female 18 yrs or older and/or a senior in High School;
*Must have "sound" basketball skill level amd be able to participate in a full court 5 on 5 game;
*Must be in "Good to Excellent Health";
*Must produce a note from primary physician;
